Packaged Systems

Packaged systems are an easy way to see all of the various parts of an off-grid solar electric system in one place. This is useful in understanding exactly what goes into a balanced system design, as well as getting a ballpark idea of the cost of different sized systems.

Some alterations and substitutions are possible within each system design, so it is generally rather easy to customize a package to suit your precise need. All of our packages are as complete as we can make them, with all of the parts and options that you will likely need. Some of our competitors offer packages that contain only the large components or specify low-quality products, in an attempt to make the price appear  smaller.  This can produce a rude awakening when all the "other" parts are added to the final bill. Likewise, the unwary customer may discover too late that they have purchased a lot of inferior-grade equipment (cheap batteries are a common example).

Our philosophy is a bit different. We offer complete packages comprised of premium components. We want you to see what it costs to build a first-quality solar electric system, with the option to substitute lower-cost components at your discretion. We think this a more honest way to interact with customers.
