Each HUP Solar One battery is constructed from six removable 2-volt cells housed in an epoxy-coated steel container. Two or four containers are connected in series for 24-volt and 48-volt systems, respectively. All cell interconnects are included, so there's no need to buy expensive, unsightly interconnect cables. A hinged steel lid is included for safety. HUP batteries are taller than most brands, which means that even a large battery set takes minimal floor space.

HUP Batteries ship free of charge in the contiguous 48 states to any commercial location that has a forklift of loading dock to receive the shipments. For most customers this is a local lumber yard or feed store, or you can pick them up at the nearest Old Dominion Freight terminal.
