Although most modern inverters include a built-in battery charger, there are still situations where a quality battery charger is needed. We offer versatile, high quality Iota battery chargers. Iota chargers can also be used as a DC power supply. Available in 12, 24, and 48 volt models.

Sometimes you just need a stand-alone battery charger, and Iota battery chargers have been the backbone of high-quality and performance for many years. Iota battery chargers are no-frills units that you can depend on every day to quickly and efficiently charge your battery without fail. Designed for permanent hard-wire installation, the Iota battery charger is ready for use whenever AC power is present, without the need to push buttons to initiate the charge cycle.

Iota charger/converters are actually high-quality DC power supplies that provide a single (internally adjustable) output voltage.  These units are frequently used to replace failed "converters" in RV applications. Iota provides better quality and efficiency than the original unit and is less expensive in most cases than an original-equipment replacement. Iota's DC output is extremely clean and without AC "ripple" to efficiently power all DC loads. High-quality circuitry minimizes radio interference, so no static is induced in radios and televisions.  They are often used as battery chargers (after voltage adjustment) when single-stage battery charging is appropriate.  For most battery charging applications we recommend adding the IQ4 module, or choosing the Smart Charger models.

Iota battery chargers feature proportional forced-air cooling for long life and quiet operation. The cooling fan speed is proportional to internal temperature, so the Iota remains cool and quiet as load requirements fluctuate. An external fuse is included for self-protection and easy serviceablility. Iota battery chargers have built-in protection against low or high input voltage as well as transient spikes that are common from small generators or poor-quality AC sources.
