Custom Battery and Inverter Cables

This is the place where you can order custom cables for inverters, battery interconnects, or maybe that special hot rod you're building in the garage. We use only fine-strand, copper welding cable manufactured in the US.

To make your cable order, first select the length of cable you need. Welding cable is sold by the foot, in increments of one-tenth foot. So if you need a 2-1/2 foot cable, enter 2.5 as the quantity. We cut the wire to the length you specify, so the overall assembled length of the cable will be slightly longer because of the lug ends. We guarantee accuracy of the wire length to +/- 1 inch. Then add the terminal lugs to the order.

Price of the terminal lugs includes assembly fee and color coded heat shrink tubing* to seal the connection. Be sure to add a simple, clear note so we know how to build your cables. Here's an example:

You need two, 6-foot 4/0 black cables with 3/8" lugs, and one 7-foot 4/0 black cable with 1/2" lugs.  Buy (19) feet of 4/0 black cable, (4) 3/8" lugs, and (2) 1/2" lugs. Add the following to the notes section:

TWO 6-FOOT CABLES, 3/8"

ONE 7-FOOT CABLE, 1/2"

*By default, we use the same color shrink tubing as the wire insulation color (black/black, red/red). If you need red shrink on black wire for example, please clearly specify your preference in the notes.
