Designed by Voodoo Solar with high quality components throughout, this off-grid electric system is complete with all of the deluxe bells and whistles to provide you with a package that doesn't cut corners. Proper balancing of the various components of an electric power system is essential for dependable operation, and each part has been chosen carefully to ensure that your system works at peak efficiency for years to come. As with all packages, there will be certain small items that will have to be purchased locally, or may have to be added to suit your specific needs. Every attempt has been made however, to make this package as complete as possible.

Depending on your individual usage requirements, this robust off-grid solar electric system will provide ample electricity for the average off-grid home and/or office, using typical off-grid conservation measures such as energy efficient appliances. Two Magnum Energy MS4024 sinewave power inverters deliver 8000 continuous watts of true sinewave power output to provide utility-grade electricity for your sensitive electronic devices. These inverters are "stacked" together for split-phase 120/240 volt AC output, so they will power typical 120 volt household appliances AND 240 volt loads such as AC well pumps. It is recommended to use high-efficiency pumps such as the Grundfos, but typical off-the-shelf submersible pumps will also work. The Magnum inverters are complete with a MERC50 remote programming display, and ME-BMK battery monitor module that gives your remote display important battery monitoring capability- an essential feature for your battery's health and long life. This inverter configuration will deliver some serious power output to supply homes and businesses with higher power requirements.

We're including a high quality Japanese diesel-engine generator (Isuzu, Mitsubishi or Kubota) that is rated for 10,000 watts of continuous output. Like the Magnum inverter, it has 120/240 volt split output to power all of the tools and appliances in your home or garage. These high-efficiency, water-cooled, multi-cylinder Japanese diesel engines are mated to Italian Mecc-Alte alternators for a reliable, compact package. These generator sets have a long lifespan, excellent fuel efficiency, quiet operation and start easily. Generator enclosure, fuel tank, starting battery and battery cables are not included. Sub-base fuel tank is available on some models at additional charge. When the weather is cloudy or you need extra power, just start your generator and the Magnum inverter's built-in battery charger automatically delivers 200 amps (6000 watts) of charging power to your battery set, simultaneously sending clean AC power directly to your home for daily needs. Always choose a diesel generator for best fuel efficiency and longest lifespan. This generator ships FREE to a business location with forklift, or small additional fee to a residence.

The Midnite Solar power center is a compact electrical enclosure that is the heart of your home power system's wiring. It comes to you as a pre-wired, pre-tested unit with the Magnum Energy sinewave inverter already installed. Regardless if you are installing the system yourself or employing an electrician, the pre-wired power center saves you time and potentially costly mistakes. Proper circuit breakers, lightning arrestors, and correct wire sizes are already installed for your convenience and safety. For your convenience, the two Outback FM80 charge controllers come pre-assembled to the power center, complete with circuit breakers. The Solar Array for this system consists of 24 high quality REC solar panels, mounted on two General Specialties UPM15X post-top mounts. REC solar panels are manufactured from high-grade USA silicon and assembled in Sweden. REC offers a modern, reliable solar module at an excellent value with a great warranty. The solar panels connect with MC4 cables for the easiest possible installation. These 24, 210 watt modules provide the largest 24 volt arrays that can be handled by 80 amp controllers, minimizing installation costs while giving you maximum energy harvest at 5040 total watts. These arrays are managed by sophisticated Outback FM80 charge controllers with full MPPT (maximum power point tracking) capability. That means that your charge controller can harvest of to 30% more energy from the solar array, compared to non-MPPT controllers. This effect is especially pronounced when you need it most: during winter months. The array is mounted on the highest quality top-of-post-mount available, with heavy-duty welded steel construction. Even though this is a very large structure, superior design makes seasonal tilt adjustments simple and easy. This is simply the best solar array mounting structure that you can buy anywhere. There are fixed costs and labor associated with each array installation so it saves you money to gather maximum solar energy from each array, and these are maximum size for a 24 volt system.
